It might not have been the result Clyde supporters had been looking for but Billy Reid was delighted with the reaction of the fans. “I’ve been critical in the past but I wanted to speak to the website to give my thanks for the tremendous backing the fans gave the team on Saturday. We have a good travelling support in comparision to other teams and it is such an encouragement to hear them get right behind the lads”.

“I’m just sorry we couldn’t get a positive result,” Billy added. “Even when we went 2-0 down I thought it was fantastic the way in which the support tried to encourage all the players. We were all disappointed at losing but players are not machines and sometimes you get days like that. However we will try our hardest to get back on the rails on Saturday and truly give the support something to cheer about”.
