Sixteen Days To Go……

All Clyde supporters are reminded that there are only sixteen days to go before one of the season’s biggest fund-raising occasions gets underway.

The Clyde Celebrity Sports Dinner, organised by the Clyde Supporters’ Trust and almost certainly set to become an annual event, takes place on Sunday 14 November in the St. Andrews Suite at the Holiday Inn Hotel (Bothwell Street) in Glasgow (pictured below).

A limited number of tickets are still available.

This year’s speakers couldn’t be better. Ex-Clyde and Scotland boss Craig Brown, much in demand these days as a match summariser on radio and TV, is also no stranger to the after-dinner circuit and can be guaranteed to provide some great Bully Wee stories. Sharing the top table with Craig will be ex-Motherwell star John Gahagan, widely regarded as one of the funniest after-dinner speakers in Scotland.

The whole evening will be in the very capable hands of Dougie Donnelly, who will also preside over the auction of fantastic Clyde and other football memorabilia.

It’s certain to be a great night, and a great boost to the continued well-being of Clyde. Individual tickets are priced at £50, with groups of ten able to take advantage of a special rate of £450. Trust members should already be aware that they can enjoy the evening at a generously discounted rate of just £39.50.

The Trust can be contacted in a number of ways:
