Clyde 2 V 0 Raith Rovers

Yet another victory, this time over Gordon Dalziel’s new side, kept Clyde in touch at the top of the First Division as the second quarter of the season got underway at Broadwood today.

A brilliant free-kick from Aaron Conway (pictured) gave The Bully Wee the lead and it was soon doubled by Scott Wilson, who did very well to place a header into the corner of the net from a tight angle.

Raith eventually found their feet and looked dangerous going forward, but there was no scoring during a second half that saw both sides miss chances.
