Forfar Coming To Broadwood In Bells Cup

Second Division Forfar Athletic will be Clyde’s next Bell’s Cup opponents following today’s quarter-final draw:
Berwick Rangers v St. Johnstone
CLYDE V FORFAR ATHLETIC
Falkirk v Gretna
Ross County v Partick Thistle

Ties will be played on 14 or 15 September.

Forfar reached this stage of the competition following a successful penalty shoot-out against Queen’s Park. Although a Division separates Forfar and Clyde, the Station Park official website has not been slow to remind their fans that it is only two years since the Loons’ 2-1 victory at Broadwood in the Scottish Cup, a defeat made even worse for Clyde when Forfar were rewarded with a big pay day against Rangers.
