Jean-Louis Valois Set To Face Stranraer
After last minute red tape ended the possibility of playing for Clyde against Partick Thstle in the opening fixture of the season, former Hearts winger Jean-Louis Valois, who left Tynecastle last January as part of a budget-reducing exercise, has definitely been given the all-clear to play tonight against Stranraer.
Since leaving the Maroons, Jean-Louis has played for Spanish Second Division club Almeira but after they missed out on promotion he decided to come back to Britain to try to continue his career.
The out-of-contract Frenchman, like Karim Kerkar, will use the match to help Clyde win tonight’s cup tie, and in doing so hopes this one-off appearance for the Bully Wee will help to remind other clubs of his qualities.
