Stranraer F.C. Assistant Manager and former Bully Wee man Stuart Millar said today that he was delighted with the draw, “professionally and personally”.
“In my playing career I played one hundred times for Clyde and have good memories of my time there. It’s a lovely stadium, we had a taste of it last season when we played a bounce game up there so we know the facilities are good and the pitch also.
“It’s a good draw for the fans. We’ve drawn a First Division team and it avoids potential long haul trips to the likes of Elgin, Peterhead and so on. The club will be renewing acquaintances with Ian Harty (pictured) so it should be a good day for all concerned.
