Alan Kernaghan Moves To Livingston
Alan Kernaghan has today confirmed that he is joining Livingston FC as assistant to Lions’ manager Allan Preston, a former colleague of AK’s at McDiarmid Park.
Alan leaves Broadwood with the respect of everyone for the thoroughly professional job he has done as manager; taking his team to two runners-up spots in the First Division and last season losing out on promotion to the SPL only by the narrowest of margins.
This success was achieved during a period of considerable behind-the-scenes upheaval at Broadwood and constant media speculation about his future. Throughout it all, Alan Kernaghan displayed the composure and dignity which have already become hallmarks of his managerial style.
Speaking earlier today, Alan said: “I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my time with Clyde and count myself fortunate to have been given the opportunity to manage so early in my career. Now I’ve decided it is time to move on”.
Our very best wishes go to Alan in his new post.
