Queen Of The South V Clyde Preview
Saturday’s match against St.Johnstone produced no fresh injury or suspension worries ahead of tomorrow’s trip to Dumfries, so John Potter is again the only player unavailable for selection.
Assistant manager Billy Reid wasn’t too despondent after the defeat and was looking forward to the midweek encounter:-
“We always said that there was a long way to go in this title race and we knew we would lose games somewhere along the line. We were disappointed with the way we lost the goals and the players were hurting after the match.
“St.Johnstone and Falkirk meet tonight so something has to give there. It’s a tough game tomorrow but, having said that, we have to take points from these matches if we are going to win the league. It’s better to have a game midweek after a bad result and we are hoping for a reaction from the players.”
