Clyde 1 V 0 Ross County

An Ian Harty penalty just before half-time was enough to overcome a Ross County side that concentrated heavily on the defensive side of their game for almost the entire match.

A Jimmy Gibson shot that came back off the bar was the closest Clyde came to scoring until the 43rd minute when Harty was brought down in the box by County defender Stuart Malcolm, who was sent off. The striker converted the resultant penalty to ensure a half-time lead.

Visiting keeper Graeme Smith pulled off a string of fine saves to keep the score down in a second half dominated by The Bully Wee.
