Two Suspended For Saints’ Visit

Defenders Alan Kernaghan and Kevin Fotheringham are both suspended and unable to play in the match against St.Johnstone at Broadwood tomorrow.

Kernaghan only has one more match to miss but Fotheringham begins a three match ban. John Potter (groin) is the only other player unavailable.

Forecasts for a hard frost overnight have put the match in some doubt but covers have been put down at both goalmouths in an effort to beat the weather.

The manager said:-

“Everyone was looking forward to the game at training today and eager to get onto the park. St.Johnstone should bring a good support with them so there will be a good atmosphere. It’s the type of game everyone likes to play in.

“It’s important that we keep doing what we’ve been doing in recent weeks. A win could open up some more gaps between us and the other contenders.

“St.Johnstone have brought in a few players and good ones at that. Vata, Taylor and McQuilken all have a lot of experience and add to an already decent squad. I’m happy with the players we have here though.

“Since the defeat in Perth, when we were awful, we’ve gone well and it would be nice to make amends for that day.”
