Decision Imminent On Potter

Defender John Potter will soon learn whether or not, as previously feared, he will require an operation to heal the groin injury currently keeping him out of the team.

It was formerly reported that he would need an operation to fix the problem but it’s now been revealed that the treatment he is currently receiving may be sufficient to get him back to full fitness.

Alan Kernaghan said:-

“We’re having John’s injury reassessed over the next fortnight to see if he’s making any progress. If the treatment is working then we will carry on with that but if not then we’ll have to look at another route.

“However, we’re hopeful that he is improving. Unfortunately, we still don’t know how long exactly he will be out for.”
