Brechin City 1 V 3 Clyde

A half-time turnaround at Glebe Park changed a bleak looking match into a vital three points for The Bully Wee as both sides finished with 10 men.

Allan Morrison kept the scores level in a frustrating first half with one fine save from point blank range in particular after Brechin had a man sent off inside the first ten minutes for a wild challenge on Jimmy Gibson.

A half-time tactical change made the difference for Clyde and their pressure brought three fine goals from Smith, Gibson and Harty to seal victory. The late dismissal of Alan Kernaghan for a self-confessed off the ball incident was the only negative outcome of an eventful match.
