Bad News For &Quot;Harry&Quot;
Following a scan last week, it has been revealed that John Potter requires an operation to heal the groin injury currently keeping him out of the team. It’s now guessed that he’ll be on the sidelines for a further two months.
A disappointed Alan Kernaghan said:-
“This couldn’t have come at a worse time for all of us, but especially John. The sooner we get him on the road to recovery the better.”
OTHER INJURY NEWS THIS WEEK
– Pat Keogh has begun some very light training and is expected to join the squad again in 7-10 days.
– Bryn Halliwell is making more progress towards reaching 100% following an ankle injury.
– Chris McGroarty has trained and is expected to be fit to play by Saturday if he continues to improve at the same rate.
