Next Away Day: Paisley
A depleted Clyde squad will make the short journey to Paisley on Saturday for the important match against St.Mirren, and a large Bully Wee support is expected to follow them. Here is some info to help you along the way…
WEATHER REPORT
Overcast but settled and mild weather is forecasted for Paisley this Saturday.
HOW TO GET THERE
Car: Via the M8, follow signs for Paisley & Glasgow Airport and exit at Junction 29 (St.James Interchange). Be careful not to exit on the A737 – best advice is to stay in the middle lane as this naturally leads to the interchange. Take the first left onto a duel carriageway, follow this and you should now be in Greenock Road. The stadium is only a few hundred yards away.
Rail: A frequent service operates from Glasgow Central to Paisley Gilmour Street and Paisley St.James. Both are half a mile from the ground. Journey time is 10 minutes. Return ticket costs £2.60.
SUPPORTERS’ BUSES
Due to the proximity of Paisley to the majority of the Clyde support, only one bus is running this Saturday but they’d be happy to have you on board…
Castlemilk Branch (0141 569 3625 – Eric Steel): Murray Square 12.35pm, Castlemilk Drive 12.50pm, Clyde Club 1.00pm, Muslin Street 1.10pm. £4 adults, £3 reduced. Second child goes free with every adult.
Glasgow Branch No bus this week.
Kirkintilloch and Cumbernauld Branch No bus this week.
PRICES
West / North Stand: £12 adults, £6 concession (Children and OAPs only), £16 parent & child (£4 for every additional child)

REFRESHMENTS
Paisley Town Centre is not short of places for pre-match food/drink, but you may have to be selective as many pubs have adopted a strict “no colours” policy. The Wee Barrel, Argyll Bar, Liberty’s and The Cottage Bar all attract footie fans. Hamish’s Hoose (near Gilmour Street) is also recommended.
CONDITIONS
View: Away fans will be housed in either the far side of the North Stand (red section in picture top left) where you get a good view of the action, or in the new West Stand which provides a decent view from behind the goals.
Atmosphere: Excellent. A large support will be present in the smallish away section making for a noisy 90 minutes.
Facilities: Very Good – you’ll get an undercover seat, with good toilet and food facilities also available.
