Clyde 1 V 0 Bristol Rovers
Ian Harty scored his first Clyde goal in front of the Bully Wee support in his Broadwood debut tonight. Jack Ross put in a superb cross from the right and Harty was in the right place to head into the top corner to notch what turned out to be the winning goal.
Overall, it was another encouraging performance against a slightly disappointing Bristol side. David Hagen, pictured left, received a nasty looking injury when a Rovers player’s finger went into his eye in an accidental collision, but luckily no serious damage was done.
On a more positive note, Robert Halliday became the latest player to make the step up from the under-19 side. He replaced Hagen at half-time and applied himself very well for 45 minutes; yet another tribute to the continued success of Billy Reid and Andy Millen’s side, and long may it continue.
