Clyde 2 V 2 Queen Of The South
A draw was probably a fair result for both sides today at Broadwood in a ‘game of two halves’ for Clyde. Lively Mark Gilhaney set up an early opener for Pat Keogh, but ex-Clyde defender Jim Thomson headed home a corner to equalise soon after. Gilhaney then nodded in Clyde’s second goal and the rest of the first 45 was played out in entertaining fashion.
Unfortunately, the second half was much duller, and Queen’s got a deserved equaliser on 74 minutes through a Peter Weatherston header at the back post. Clyde did have chances to get a late winner but overall it was a poor second half display.
