Gilhaney Signs New Deal

Young striker Mark Gilhaney has signed a new two year contract to take him through until the end of season 2004/05. Mark, who was previously on an under-18 contract, has made a big impact since breaking into the first team recently and Alan Kernaghan moved quickly to ensure he’ll remain a Clyde player for the foreseeable future.

Alan said today:-

“I’m delighted with this news. Billy Reid has put in a lot of hard work bringing him on and the results so far have been fantastic. It’s great for the club to finally have a young player coming through the ranks and I’m delighted for the Chairman.”

“We’ll gauge how often to play him on how he performs, but if he can carry on this type of form he should have no problems.”
