Queen Of The South 1 V 1 Clyde
It was a classic ‘game of two halves’ for Clyde at Palmerston Park tonight, with a second half David Hagen goal salvaging a point for The Bully Wee.
Clyde were very poor in the first 45, and were lucky to go in only one down at half-time. John Fraser and Stevie Convery replaced Paul Kane and Willie Falconer early in the second half, injecting some much needed pace to Clyde’s play.
After a spell of sustained pressure, Paul Shields turned brilliantly outside the box and fired a tremendous shot against the underside of the bar. Agonisingly, it bounced down and away from goal, but thankfully Hagen nodded in the rebound.
A full match report with reaction will appear in the ‘Fixtures / Results’ section soon.
