Fraser Returns For Well Visit
John Fraser has managed to get a full weeks training under his belt and is available for selection again ahead of the Scottish Cup 4th Round tie against Motherwell.
Pat Keogh, still suffering with a calf strain, is the only Bully Wee player who cannot play, so the Clyde line-up is unlikely to change much from that that defeated Arbroath a fortnight ago.
Everyone at Broadwood was busy with last minute preparations for the huge match today, not least Alan Kernaghan:-
“It’s an important game, but we’ll approach it like any other. They are a Premier League side, so no matter how good or bad they are doing in currently they are still going to provide a hugely difficult challenge. League form goes out the window in the Cup anyway.”
“I haven’t seen James McFadden since the summer, but he did well then. He is an undoubted talent but it’s not something I’m going to worry about.”
“It’s vital that the game isn’t lost in the first 15 or 20 minutes, and I’ll be stressing that to the players.”
