St.Johnstone 1 V 2 Clyde
A gritty and determined performance in Perth today dragged The Bully Wee back into third place in the league and once again established themselves as title contenders.
The match started horribly for Clyde, with the large travelling support suffering real problems with various Stadium issues (more will no doubt follow on this) while Paddy Connolly nicked a soft early opener for Saints.
A terrific equaliser, finished off by John Fraser, sparked an impressive comeback and Simon Mensing headed the winner from an Andy Millen free-kick after 55 minutes. Bryn Halliwell later pulled of a world class save which was sportingly acknowledged by Alan Main.
A full match report with reaction will be on the site soon.
