News Round-Up

With the transfer window now open, news is gradually beginning to pick up on the player front. Here is a quick round-up of the current affairs…

– Moussa Dagnogo has now left the Club. AK said:- “Moussa was having problems with accomadation, and because of the weather, we couldn’t get a chance to see him in a game and make a proper assesment. He was also going to return to the States in April, so we decided not to take it any further.”

– Colin Nish’s loan deal has now expired (2nd January and not 11th January as peviously stated) so he is ineligible to play for Clyde, but he is continuing to train with the squad during the SPL’s winter break. Colin is currently discussing his contract options at Dunfermline and may become available.

– Leigh Hinds has been offered a new contract, but hasn’t yet made a decision on it. Alan said:- “We’ve made Leigh a very good offer, the best we can make, and we’re hoping to hear from him soon. We don’t want to let it drag on like the Jamie Mitchell scenario last season.”

– A trialist from the USA is coming to train with the squad this week.
