Kids’ Club Away Day #2

Following on from the success of the Kids’ Club day out to Perth a couple of months back, there has been another ‘Away Day’ organised. This time, we are off to Brockville on 11/1/03 to watch the game between Falkirk and Clyde. Last time, everyone who attended had a smashing time and there have been a few requests for another trip.

Cost should again be £6 per child and £9 per adult. This will go to cover the cost of transport to the game and some refreshments either before or during the game. Admission to the game is also included. Again spaces for adults will be limited but it is hoped that with enough interest that we will be able to accommodate as many people as possible.

So if you would like to go to Falkirk with the Kids Club then get your names in to Lynn at the Clyde office, along with a cheque, before 29/12/02. If parents wishing to attend could put their names forward but not send in payment for themselves until we are able to confirm numbers. Should the day have to be cancelled by Clyde then all cheques shall be returned. As part of the day Falkirk have requested that we provide a mascot for the game so if you would like to be a mascot for the game answer the following question and all correct answers will go into a draw.

What was the score the last time the sides met at Brockville?

You do not have to be part of the day out to enter the competition. Falkirk have also asked if we would be interested in a 5 or 7 aside game either before the game or at half time, so anyone attending will be eligible for the Clyde Kids’ Club team to play the Falkirk kids’ team. Age limits have still to be determined.
