Friendly Victory For Bully Wee
Clyde defeated Arthurlie 4-3 at Broadwood last night in a friendly that came to life in the second half. The game was scheduled to be played last Wednesday, but was switched because of the weather.
After a dull first half which ended 0-0, both teams found their scoring touch in the second 45 and produced 7 goals – McConalogue (2), Cosgrove and an own goal for Clyde.
Trialists Gary Martin and Moussa Dagnogo featured for Clyde, but Steven Boyle (also on trial) was ill and couldn’t take part. Pat Keogh took a nasty blow to the head and, unfortunately, must now be considered doubtful for Saturday’s match against Ross County.
