Squad Nearing Full Fitness
Several players are returning from injury in time for tomorrow’s tough match at Brockville – but they might not feature. Stephen McConalogue is one who has recovered and goes into contention.
Mark McLaughlin and Paul Kane are two others, although they probably won’t play tomorrow. Alan Kernaghan said – “They both came through the midweek friendly and have been training for a week now, but I may decide they aren’t ready to play tomorrow.”
Willie Falconer is now the only injured player in the squad.
AK knows how difficult tomorrow’s game will be – “The players realise that Falkirk are top on merit and are playing with confidence. We’ll need to play well to take anything from the game, especially at the back.”
“I don’t think the atmosphere will be intimidating at all, in fact I think it will do the players good to play in a big game like this.”
