12Th Time Lucky?

Tomorrow Clyde face Alloa at Broadwood and are looking to exorcise an old ghost. In the last 11 games against Alloa, home and away, Clyde have scored only 3 goals and haven’t won once. The Bully Wee support would like nothing better than a win tomorrow, and finally overcome the “Christie Tactics” which are effective but frustrating – especially against Clyde. However, the law of averages is well and truly on Clyde’s side!

Stephen McConalogue is out with an achilles injury, and Mark McLaughlin and Paul Kane haven’t won their battle to be fit in time.

The game could prove to be a turning point for a determined Alan Kernaghan, who has received some criticism from a section of the support this week. He told BBC online:-

“We’ve been great box to box and we just haven’t been getting the breaks around goal. We’ll need to just get the run of the ball and it might get our front players in the right frame of mind again.”

Terry Christie is without Andy Seaton, Brown Ferguson and Scott Crabbe, and he said:-

“We had a great performance against Raith in Kirkcaldy on Tuesday which I hope gives us the heart to take on Clyde.”
