Clyde Interested In Dutch Keeper

Alan Kernaghan has confirmed reports from the BBC that he is interested in Exeter City’s experienced goalkeeper Arjan van Heusden.

The 29 year old began his career at Noordwijk before Port Vale brought him to England for £4500. Spells at Oxford and Cambridge then followed before he became a fans’ favourite at Exeter.

“We’ve spoken about him coming to Clyde, probably on loan” Alan tonight told the website. “We tried to find some info on him over the summer but couldn’t find any. Recent developments have meant that we’ve now renewed our interest. We last contacted Exeter on Thursday and it’s up to them to get back to us now.”
