Livingston have confirmed that goalkeeper Dave McEwan will be loaned to Clyde for 12 months. Despite being agreed during the week, the deal was thrown into doubt when Livi suffered an injury crisis. However, the move will now be completed on Monday.

Dave won’t be allowed to play in the Scottish Cup or League Cup for Clyde, and Jim Leishman can recall him at any time during the loan period. “It’s not an ideal situation, but it’s the best option we have at the moment”, Alan Kernaghan told the website. “We may consider bringing in another keeper as cover.”
