Challenging Start For Clyde
A visit to Dumfries on 3 August to meet newly promoted Queen of the South will be Clyde’s opening day fixture of the 2002/03 season – and there will be a big and enthusiastic crowd at Palmerston to see Queen’s Championship Flag-raising ceremony and to make an early evaluation of the Doonhamers’ ability to survive and prosper in the First Division.
The fixture list computer has also thrown up two tough but attractive home fixtures for the Bully Wee in August, against Ayr United and St. Mirren, which will not only be a test of Clyde’s ambitions to better the fifth top finish of the last two seasons but will indicate whether the Target 2K project is beginning to make an impact.
Clyde’s compete fixture list – announced this morning – will appear on this site shortly. In the meantime a Mailing List Bulletin has been issued which contains all the 2002/03 First Division Fixtures.
