Summer Sales Continue For ‘Seasons’

Although the normal pattern is that few Clyde season tickets are sold between the last game of the season and the first pre-season friendly, the new package has continued to attract a steady stream of Clyde fans in the last few weeks.

Lynn Calder in the Clyde office, just returned from a much deserved holiday break, has today given the official site the following breakdown of season ticket sales to date:

Adults (£180.00):126
Senior Citizens/Students (£90.00):70
Secondary Age Children (£40.00):39
Primary Age Children (£20.00) 37
TOTAL 272

If there is any disappointment in the figures, and they are generally very encouraging, it centres on the fact that only 37 tickets have been bought in the ‘Kids For A Quid’ range and only slightly more have been sold in the £2 per match offer for the 11 and over category.

This offer is not only a cornerstone of this year’s season ticket package but a major part of the strategy which Clyde are undertaking as part of ‘Target 2K’. As such all Clyde supporters are urged to bring this offer to the attention of all children who qualify for either category – and it makes a perfect and inexpensive gift for all those youngsters with birthdays between now and August.
