Recap

James Grady scored a hat-trick as the Second Division leaders hammered First Division Clyde in the Scottish Cup.

The veteran striker helped set up a quarter-final clash with St Mirren when he wriggled away from his markers to squeeze in a shot after 25 minutes.

Kenny Deuchar poked the ball home on 69 minutes and Grady found the net with an impressive 25-yard strike soon after.

Clyde’s Craig McKeown was sent off following a double booking that arose after the centre half dispouted a foul that he was cautiond for on James Grady. Grady completed the scoring from close range.

Clyde hit the headlines when they dumped Celtic out of the competition but they were well beaten in this replay at Raydale Park.

At 1-0 down, Steven Masterston went close with a strike from long range and Alex Willams shot wide with just keeper Alan Main to beat.

But, with Grady and Deuchar running the away defence ragged all night, Gretna always looked the more dangerous side.
