Clyde View Earns More Awards

Clyde Football Club’s award winning matchday magazine has received further accolades. In this season’s Wirral Programme Club awards the Bully Wee publication has again performed magnificently.

The Wirral awards are the programme editors “Oscars”, with judges taking into account all football programmes produced in the UK. The voting has confirmed that Clyde have won two further awards for the 2004/05 publication. The Wirral Club has awarded Clyde first place both in the Scottish First Division, and for the whole of Scotland.

Programme editor John Taylor was equally delighted to learn that the Clyde View finished 5th in the United Kingdom with the next best placed Scottish side finishing 73rd.

John commented: “It is a marvellous result but as I’ve said previously it is a team effort. There are too many involved to list individually but particular thanks go to creative designer Frank Tocher, Walker and Connel, SCA Packaging, Howard Smith Scotland, Eric Lennon, SNS, The Scottish Sun, all our advertisers and my contributors who’ve consistently matched our on-field efforts during a gruelling season!”

“Once more thanks to our readers, who continue to produce a remarkable sales to attendance ratio, also the best in Scotland”
