Gordon attended his first Clyde match with his father at Shawfield in 1977 and has been a devoted supporter ever since. After writing for The Clyde View and co-editing the club website, his formal involvement with the club developed further when he joined the Supporters’ Trust Board in 2008, before being co-opted onto the Clyde Board of Directors in 2010.

Gordon also serves on the board of the Clyde Community Foundation, helping to support and promote its important work.

Throughout his time on the club board, Gordon has undertaken a variety of roles, including secretary and Chair while also being elected to the SPFL Board. Gordon currently represents the interests of the Community Foundation on the club board, provides support to the football department and represents the club on the SPFL Competitions Working Group.

Away from football, Gordon is a Senior Manager for Quality and Compliance with a national care charity.
