Gordon currently occupies the position of Chairman, having served the club as Vice Chairman, Secretary and as the representative of the Supporters Trust since his appointment on the board in 2010.

Gordon has also represented the club as a Trustee on its charitable arm, the Clyde FC Community Foundation, as well as being the club representative in various SPFL groups. In season 2020/21 Gordon was also a member of the SPFL Board.

The role of Chairman oversees the club activities, board meetings and acts as the lead contact for the club.

Outside of football Gordon is part of the Senior Management Team of a large social care provider in Scotland working in HR Compliance and Quality Management.
