David’s main role is leading the Medical Team which includes the Club Doctor, Physiotherapists, Sports Science Department and Sports Psychologist. He liaises with the Manager and coaches and seeks to maximise performance, fitness and recovery from injury using his network of contacts. He also led the Pandemic protocols for the club and kept these up to date with Scottish Government Policy.

David also has hospitality and boardroom matchday responsibilities and has served as club Dentist for almost 30 years. David was responsible for introducing the Clyde FC Hall of Fame which continues annually to date.

Away from football, David is the owner and Principal Dental Surgeon of the Award winning Whitemoss Dental Practice in East Kilbride, one of the club’s main sponsors for many years. He is also Assistant Postgraduate Dental Dean for NHS Education Scotland.
