Charlie’s main role is to promote and expand the club’s commercial activity, generating revenues and leading to sustainable growth. He is tasked with developing and implementing commercial strategies, while understanding the requirements of existing partners to ensure their needs are being met.

The role also involves monitoring performance of commercial activities using key metrics, the preparation of reports for the Board and assisting with setting financial targets and budget development.

Charlie has a wealth of knowledge in business and is currently chairman of the Institute of Clerks of Works and Construction Inspectorate (ICWCI), both in the UK and overseas. He is also an expert witness for Police Scotland, a position he has held for the past thirteen years.
