Stuart joined Clyde on a one-year deal in June 2023 from Dumbarton.

The central midfielder, who can also play in the centre of defence, came through ranks at Motherwell and made just under a century of appearances for the Steelmen before signing for St Mirren, and also had a spell with Keflavik in Iceland.

Upon his return to Scotland in January 2017 he signed for Dumbarton, making a total of 224 appearances, whilst also spending three years as club captain.
