Ray Grant rejoined Clyde in the summer of 2022 after a couple of years away from the club.

After coming through the academy at Norwich City where he made his professional debut in an FA Cup tie against Southampton, Grant initially signed for Clyde in January 2018 and quickly established himself in a key player. He missed just two games in his two-and-a-half years at the club, helping The Bully Wee to promotion via the playoffs in 2019.

His first game back at the club against Hibs in the 2022-23 season opener was his 100th Bully Wee appearance. Ray featured in all of Clyde’s games until Hogmanay when he picked up an ACL injury to keep him out of action for an extended period.
