Darren is currently on loan to The Bully Wee from Forfar Athletic until January 2024.

Whyte, 26, joined The Loons on loan from St Mirren in 2017 before signing on at Station Park on a permanent basis the following year, and has made over 100 appearances for the club.

Primarily a centre-back, Darren can also play at right-back and in the centre of midfield.
