Falkirk Hospitality with Jim McCalliog

The club are delighted to announce that famous Scotland international footballer Jim McCalliog will be the special guest in the Arria Lounge for the match versus Falkirk a week on Saturday.

The name Jim McCalliog is, of course, forever etched into Scottish football folklore with Scotland’s third goal against World Champions England at Wembley in 1967, in a 3-2 win that will go down as arguably Scotland’s most famous international victory. On the club side of things, Jim had a long career, playing for Chelsea, Sheffield Wednesday, Wolves, Manchester United and Southampton – where he helped them win the FA Cup in 1976 – amongst others.

So why is Jim coming along to see Clyde? Club Historian Gordon Sydney explained:-

“I was chatting with Craig Brown and Neil Hood a couple of years ago, and they alerted me to the fact that Jim was a Clyde fan – that was something that had completely bypassed me! Anyway, I went along to the launch of Jim’s new book “Wembley Wins and Wembley Woes” at Hampden recently, introduced myself, and invited Jim and his lovely wife Debbie along to Broadwood.”

There are still some hospitality places for the match remaining, with details and how to book below:
