David Appointed Vice Chairman
The club can announce that David MacPherson has filled the position of Vice Chairman on the Board of Directors. The Vice Chair role had been vacant since Gordon Thomson became Chairman earlier in the summer.
David has been on the Board since 2010, and also serves as the club’s Medical Director.
David commented on his new appointment:-
“I have supported Clyde FC all my life following my father Archie and grandfather Samuel to Shawfield, Broadwood and beyond. It is a great honour to serve on the Board of Directors and contribute in any way I can to the success and development of the Club.
“I got my first season ticket as a teenager and became an Exec Member in my early 20’s. Highlights included travelling on the supporters bus to Aberdeen on a school night and playing in the Clyde Supporters Football Team for a few seasons. I now have a life Exec Membership and I am delighted that through my practice, I can be one of the club’s main sponsors.
“I am looking forward to my new challenge and working with Chairman Gordon Thomson, fellow directors and all supporters to make Clyde FC the best it can be.”
