October Holiday Camp
The final Clyde FC Holiday Camp of 2017 takes place next week, at Stepps Primary School.
The camp gives kids the ideal opportunity to spend their school break having fun and playing football. The camps, run by the Clyde FC Community Foundation, are open to children between 4-15 years old and will be held at Stepps Playing Fields.
It will run from Monday 16th October to Friday 20th October. Kids have the option to stay for either two hours (morning or afternoon) or the full day.
Tom Elliott, who heads up the Community Foundation, said: “It’s brilliant for the connection between the club and the community and really good for the kids. Exercise is a great thing for young people. They get a lot from it and it helps develop them steadily.
“Following the success of previous camps at Stepps, both myself and the coaching staff are looking forward to going back and delivering another great week for the kids to enjoy.”
During the camps, children will benefit from structured coaching sessions directed by SFA qualified coaching staff, undertake fun challenges, collect a completion certificate and receive a gift from the club.
Everyone who takes part will also receive a free ticket for the Clyde v Peterhead match on Saturday 21st October, including the chance to play in a small sided tournament before the match and also play on the pitch at half-time.
