Clyde FC Business Club

Mon, 5th Jan 2015 11:28pm

Over the next few weeks, a new Clyde FC Business Club will be launched that will enable business executives to use the club as a networking environment to assist with their business development efforts.

It is hoped that, as the model develops, those business people will feel at home with Clyde FC and be open to further discussions in relation to wider investment in the club.

To help launch the initiative, Club Director Bobby Gracey and First Team Manager Barry Ferguson will attend and speak at the Rutherglen Business Network event (sponsored by Clyde Gateway) on Friday 23rd January at the Burnside Hotel. At the event, the club will also be discussing the current needs and future and aspirations of Clyde FC with those business people in attendance, including local MP Tom Greatrex and MSP James Kelly.

Bobby said, "Significant effort has been placed in the investor relations area of the Club recently as, in my opinion, the securing of external funding is the only way, at this time, to evolve the depth of our player budget and enhance the type of player we can attract to the club.

"I would like to personally thank Gary Hosie of PTS Clean who approached me to provide the club with this excellent opportunity and for all of his hard work sharing with his network the benefits of a business association with our great club."

Any Clyde supporters who are business owners or leaders are welcome to attend the event on 23rd January. To register, please e-mail Gary at [email protected] with your name and company name.
