PREVIEW: Montrose v Clyde

Fri, 7th Nov 2014 8:43pm

Clyde are on the road again tomorrow, as the team travel north to take on Montrose in League Two.

Looking ahead to the game, Bully Wee boss Barry Ferguson told the official website that, despite last week's disappointment, the team have trained well through the week and he is hoping for a reaction tomorrow.

Ferguson said: "The boys were disappointed and I was disappointed with last weekend, but training was good last night.

"It is good that we can play nice football at times but sometimes you have got to do the naughty side of the game and that is something that we need to start doing more often.

"We know tomorrow is going to be a difficult game but this league is so tight, anybody can beat anybody. What I will be looking for is a reaction in terms of the fact that the game will be a battle at times and we need to stand up to the battle – the guys know that I expect that."

Ferguson revealed that, due to injuries, there will be a number of changes but he believes the team can get back to winning ways. He added: "We have a few injuries so some people won't make the game, but it is a chance for the boys who have not been playing to come in and stake a claim.

"Before last weekend we were on a good run but it is inevitable that runs come to an end so we just need to dust ourselves down and start again."
