New Deals for Fraser and Nik

Fri, 9th May 2014 7:01pm

The club is pleased to announce that Fraser McGhee and Nik Rajovic have signed new one-year deals with The Bully Wee, keeping them at Broadwood until at least May 2015.

Full back Fraser, a product of the club's youth academy, made his first start for Clyde against Elgin in March and went on to play a big part in the closing stages of the season.

Nik, 21, signed for Clyde in 2012 and has featured in 11 matches so far, providing important cover for Jamie Barclay between the sticks.

Jim Duffy said, "Fraser recently made the step up from under-19 level and was thrown in at the deep end at a crucial stage of the season. He has handled it really well and been very consistent.

"Nik was terrific when he came into the team when Jamie was injured earlier in the season. He has grown in confidence and I'm sure he will push Jamie all the way for the no.1 jersey.

"We are delighted that both young players have committed their future to the club."
