PREVIEW: Rangers v Clyde

Mon, 24th Dec 2012 3:58pm

On Wednesday, The Bully Wee will make the short trip to Govan to meet Rangers, as the current IRN-BRU Third Division leaders host a Boxing Day Glasgow derby.

The squad trained this afternoon in preparation and, whilst speaking to the official website after the session, Jim Duffy revealed that some difficult decisions have already been made ahead of the match:-

"The lads are excited by the prospect of playing at Ibrox. Thankfully, injuries are at a minimum but that also meant that there was disappointed for those that haven't made the matchday squad. There's competition for the starting eleven so it will be the same on Wednesday when we announce the team.

"When we played Rangers at Broadwood I thought we gave a good account of ourselves. Boxing Day at Ibrox will be another new experience for most of the squad, but I know they will work hard for each other."

Around 500 Clyde fans have bought tickets for the match, which is the club's first visit to Ibrox on league duty in over 35 years. Kick-off is at 3pm.
