Cup Finals for Powerchair FC

Wed, 21st Nov 2012 11:32pm

This Saturday sees the inaugural SFA Powerchair Scottish Cup Final. The event will take place at the Kelvin Hall in Glasgow, with matches starting from 11.30am.

The Bully Wee will be represented at the competition, with the new Clyde Powerchair FC fielding four teams. This will be the club's first experience of competitive action, with each match played under specific powerchair rules.

Powerchair games last 15 minutes, with each team consisting of four players and one substitute. The competition will initially take place in a group format, before the leading two teams play off in the final to compete for the Scottish Cup trophy.

All of the squad are eagerly waiting for the weekend to arrive and if you are not travelling to Annan, why not come along and support the players and volunteers? Spectators are welcome from 11am and entry is free.

You can cheer on The Bully Wee team as they aim to secure some silverware for Clyde Powerchair FC.
