Bobby Delighted to Join Board

The club this morning confirmed the appointment of a new director to the board and issued the following statement to the official website:-

“With a view to strengthening the ability of the club to work with commercial sponsors and partners, Clyde FC is delighted to announce that Bobby Gracey has been appointed to the board of directors.

“As well as having a successful business career, Bobby is a life-long supporter of The Bully Wee and brought both together this season by signing his company, IFIC, as next season’s shirt sponsors.

“We look forward to working with Bobby in his new role as director.”

Speaking this afternoon, Bobby told www.clydefc.co.uk:-

“I am absolutely delighted and honoured to be given the opportunity to serve on the board of Clyde Football Club.

“As a fourth generation Clyde fan with family links going back 100 years, I cannot wait to make a positive contribution to the club via the boardroom and do all I can to improve our current position on and off the field.

“It is so important that we all come together for the common cause of protecting our short, medium and long term future, whilst returning our club to what I believe to be our rightful place in the upper levels of Scottish football.

“I believe in teamwork and total transparency in everyday business life and will be applying the same ethics and integrity to all that I do for The Bully Wee in the months and years ahead.”
