New Season, New Video

The official website is pleased to be able to launch HD video today. The upgraded video is brought in conjunction with the Supporters’ Trust, who have kindly sponsored the ever-popular section of the website.

This is in addition to the enhancements already brought in at the end of last season, including a bigger viewing area and a unique highlight selection menu.

Ahead of the competitive action starting at Broadwood next week, sample footage from the friendly against Everton XI can now be viewed.

Following a change to the license agreement issued by the Scottish Football League to all member clubs, an increase of up to five minutes of action can now be shown per match if required. This is an option that will hopefully be required during the 2010-11 campaign!

The website is also looking forward to working closely with SFL TV. The new venture is due to be fully rolled out in the next few weeks and will see action broadcast across four free channels; IRN-BRU SFL TV, The Co-operative Insurance Cup TV, ALBA Challenge Cup TV and SFL Classic TV.

New programmes will be shown every Thursday, giving fans of all clubs the chance to enjoy a round-up of the previous weekend’s action from all over Scotland.
