Stuart Millar was a happy man yet again this afternoon when he contacted the official website to announce the club’s latest addition to the squad.
25-year-old goalkeeper John Charles Hutchison has agreed to sign from Camelon Juniors on a one-year deal.
JC, as he is known, is the current Scotland Junior number 1 and Clyde’s head coach revealed how pleased he was to conclude the deal:-
“Myself, Gordon and Rab Sneddon have watched JC on numerous occasions and we believe he has the potential to be a top goalie.
“On behalf of Clyde FC, I’d like to thank Robert McTaggart and the committee at Camelon, along with manager Steve Kerrigan, for their professionalism throughout the negotiations. JC will move to Broadwood with the best wishes from all at Camelon.
“I am delighted to conclude this deal as JC has been a top target since my appointment.
“We now have two quality goalkeepers at the club in Jordan Allan and JC Hutchison. This can only benefit Clyde both in the short and long term future.”
