Golf Day Continues to Grow

The weather was kind to the club’s fourth annual golf day, held at Lenzie Golf Club recently, and it wasn’t just the conditions that shone.

Everyone in attendance enjoyed a fantastic day, with the total amount raised for the club hitting the £12000 mark; a record for the event.

Clyde director Frank Dunn said, “The feedback from all the celebrities and players involved has been very good, with many having already pledged to return next year.

“Lenzie Golf Club are delighted with the ongoing partnership with the club and special thanks are due to the professional there, Jim McCallum. Dougie Donnelly was, as usual, very effective as auctioneer and the auction alone raised £4500 thanks to everyone’s generosity.”

The date for next year’s event has been set as Friday 6th May.
