David Steps Down
The club wishes to extend its thanks to David Dalziel, who has informed the Board that he is stepping down from his role as commercial director.
A lifelong Bully Wee fan, David is known to many supporters who are aware of the passion he has for Clyde FC. He brought that enthusiasm and plenty of key contributions during his five-year spell on the Board.
His business commitments now demand that he spends at least two weeks a month out of the country, making it increasingly difficult for him to reach the high standards he desired.
Not surprisingly, David has offered to continue to support the club behind the scenes through being an active member of project teams aimed at helping the club progress again. His wife, Jean, will also continue to provide her valuable input to match days at Broadwood.
His departure will be confirmed at the One Hundred and First Annual General Meeting of the club at Broadwood on Monday night, 7.30pm. All shareholders have been notified in writing.
